These championships fit perfectly into Pirelli's motorcycle racing strategy as they allow us to be present in all the main championships dedicated to young talent. Also, we apply the same philosophy already adopted in WorldSBK, using only standard tyres and not prototypes.
Moto2™
Moto2™ and Moto3™: the leagues before the primer championship of MotoGP™. The key difference separating the three from one another is the power of the bikes. Moto2™ feature a 765 CC three cylinders engine with around 140 horsepower and a minimun weight of 217 kg bike and rider combined.
Moto3™
With a total weight (bike + rider) of 152 KG and a top speed that exceeds 245km/h., Moto3™ bikes use 250 CC with a one-cylinder 60 horsepower engine.
