Pirelli ANGEL™ motorcycle tyre family

The motorcycle tyres in the extensive Pirelli catalogue are divided into three product families: ANGEL™ is the family dedicated specifically to sport touring tyres. As well as having a sporty nature – a Pirelli trademark – these tyres stand out as they ensure smooth riding, high mileage, excellent performance also in wet conditions and riding pleasure, whether riding solo or with a pillion and fully laden.

The first tyres in the ANGEL™ family to enter the market were the record-breaking ANGEL™ ST tyres. On 15 March 2009, 15 journalists and 12 Pirelli testers set 7 world duration records at the Nardò Technical Center in Nardò. On just one set of ANGEL™ ST tyres, they covered 5,135 kilometres at an average speed of 214 km/h in a non-stop endurance test.

The Pirelli ANGEL™ product family also includes tyres for motorcyclists who use their bikes for long journeys, with saddlebags and a passenger, like the ANGEL™ GT and the latest addition of the family ANGEL™ GT II, the new sport touring tyre that set the benchmark for performance within this segment. The range also includes tyres designed to meet the needs of motorcyclists that ride in the city, such as the ANGEL™ Scooter, and tyres for sport motorcycles and scooters up to 300cc like the ANGEL™ CiTy.
