As the crown jewel of MV Agusta's Supersport line-up, the F3 Competizione is a special edition F3, a mid-size sportbike packing a 798cc triple-cylinder engine that delivers 160 HP and a dry weight of just 178 kg. It's engineered to excel on both the road and the racetrack.
Hailing from the Italian factory in Varese, the F3 Competizione is a limited-edition masterpiece, handcrafted in 2025 with meticulous attention to detail and limited to only 300 numbered units. This is a special edition, distinguished by its extreme attention to detail and the use of high-quality components selected for maximum performance.
Top-of-the-line, fully adjustable suspension
Built around a steel trellis frame and aluminium side plates, the F3 Competizione is equipped with top-of-the-line Öhlins suspension. The 43 mm inverted NIX30 fork features a TiN coating for ultra-smooth action, while the twin-tube TTX 36 shock with piggyback reservoir and aluminium swingarm delivers exceptional handling and control. With a wide range of hydraulic adjustments, both the fork and shock offer exceptional tuning capabilities. The fork's top-out adjusters (compression on the left, rebound on the right) and the shock's manual controls allow riders to fine-tune the suspension to their exact preferences. The fork also features adjustable spring pre-load. Öhlins consistently provides the steering damper, adjustable in 19 positions.
Focused on lightness
Compared to the F3 RR, the Öhlins suspension package on the F3 Competizione reduces weight by 1 kg, and an additional 3 kg is saved thanks to the carbon wheels, benefiting from the reduction of unsprung mass. Further weight savings of 3 kg are achieved with a lightweight lithium-ion battery, while the titanium Akrapovic exhaust shaves off another 3 kg. A staggering 14 kg lighter than the RR, the F3 Competizione tips the scales at a mere 178 kg dry weight (without fuel and with the dedicated kit), resulting in an exhilarating power-to-weight ratio of 0.9 HP/kg.
Racing tyres
The 17-inch carbon wheels are wrapped in high-performance Pirelli DIABLO ROSSO™ IV Corsa tyres. Programmable Sport and Race braking
Up front, the bike is equipped with a Brembo braking system featuring 320mm discs and high-performance Stylema monobloc calipers with radial mounting. Equipped with a cutting-edge cornering ABS system, this bike offers maximum safety and performance, even when leaned over. Choose between Sport and Race modes to tailor the system to your riding style. In Sport mode, the ABS system intervenes at both the front and rear wheels, while the cornering ABS and Rear Wheel Lift Mitigation systems work together to provide maximum stability and control. In Race mode, ABS is only active on the front wheel, cornering is deactivated, and RLM is less intrusive. For pure track use, riders can fully disable the ABS on the F3 Competizione when equipped with the dedicated Akrapovic exhaust map.
A 160 HP triple-cylinder engine
The F3 Competizione can reach an impressive 160 HP at 13,500 rpm, thanks to a race-spec Akrapovic full titanum and carbon fibre exhaust. The heart of the bike, a compact and lightweight 798 cc triple, remains unchanged. This bike boasts a unique counter-rotating crankshaft that reduces engine inertia and titanium valves that enable ultra-high revs. Additional highlights include a self-servo slipper clutch that reduces lever effort by 50% and a bidirectional quick shifter.
Advanced electronics
The F3 Competizione boasts a suite of advanced electronics, including a new ECU and a 6-axis IMU, offering riders a choice of 4 Riding Modes (Rain, Sport, Race, and Custom), 8 levels of traction control (2 Rain, 3 Road, 3 Track) and Launch Control. Working in tandem with the FLC (Front Lift Control) wheelie control system, this bike can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in under 3 seconds. The FLC system precisely controls the front wheel lift during wheelies, optimizing acceleration while keeping things safe.
Stunning looks, cutting-edge aerodynamics
The F3 Competizione inherits the aggressive aerodynamic profile of the F3 RR, with integrated "wings" generating a substantial 8 kg of downforce at 240 km/h. Crafted from premium forged carbon, these components complement the bike's overall look, featuring exposed matt carbon wheels, carbon fibre fairings, a smoked racing windscreen, and a carbon front fender. This component is specifically designed to direct cool air flow towards the brake calipers and radiator.
Inspired by the iconic F4 Claudio, the MV Agusta Style Centre has crafted a livery that seamlessly blends sleek black and satin silver with striking gold accents and extensive exposed carbon fibre. The Alcantara seat adds a touch of luxury.
Each bike is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and features a unique numbered plate (XXX/300) mounted on the precision-machined billet aluminium steering stem.
