The most exclusive club

The two most exclusive automobile clubs in the world are called Programmi XX and F1 Clienti. Someone has tried to copy them, but nobody has ever managed to match them

Home Road Cars Supercars The most exclusive club

On the one hand, the Programmi XX car pits.On the other, the F1 Clienti single-seater cars. A day on the track with these two Ferrari Corse Clienti activities grants you access to exclusivity on four wheels. This is where the wealthiest and most fortunate Ferrari fans in the world get together, those who have had the opportunity to buy a Formula 1 car (they are put up for sale three years after their last racing season in the world championship) or one of the Programmi XX cars. The latter are track only variants of road cars. It all started in 2005 with the FXX, derived from the Enzo, and continued with the 599 XX that was conceived based on a 599 GTB Fiorano, while 2014 was the year of the FXX K. For this too, the recipe was a "simple" one: in the hangars at Maranello, they took a LaFerrari, the hybrid boasting over 900 HP, and they fitted an 860 HP engine with the Hy-Kers system derived from Formula 1 to produce a final horsepower of a whopping 1050 HP. From 2018, the new EVO aerodynamic kit has been introduced for even more exciting performance levels.

Corse Clienti is therefore allowing Ferrari fans the chance to enjoy a driver experience, without the hustle and bustle of racing but with the fastest cars ever to have left the gates of Maranello, cars that allow them to enjoy some unique days on the most fascinating tracks in the world. Ferrari mechanics lay their hands on these dream cars, just like in Formula 1, with coaches helping clients improve their driving skills and Pirelli experts constantly monitoring the P Zero tyres. The drivers don't have to worry about a thing: all they need to do is don a pair of gloves, lower their visor and reach the apex. And then drive onto the next bend. The rest is all up to Ferrari: Ferrari staff load the cars at Maranello, place washed and ironed driving suits neatly into the lorries, along with the spare tyres and the most useful spare parts. They set up the race track in Ferrari red and get ready to welcome its luckiest clients. These include the likes of Benjamin Sloss, famous car collector and vice president of Google, who shares his passion with his wife: he has the FXX K, she has the 599 XX. Or vice versa. Obviously the service is first class: limousine on request for transfers, lounges and all possible comforts for the gentleman drivers.

When they get to the track, the only "talk" is the rumbling of the engines: indeed, it sounds more like a roar, seeing as the most popular sound is also the finest, that of the V12 engine. Whether they are 1990 Formula 1 cars or those from Programmi XX, they are the most fascinating sounds of a passion for engines and for speed. With the make that best represents these emotions in the world: Ferrari.
