Munich, September 2016 – The repeatedly-awarded Audi driving experience center in Neuburg on the Danube was the venue of the official German launch of the newest P Zero variant by Pirelli. Between the 8th and the 16th of September, a total of six events was held for tyre and car dealers. Each presentation lasted one and a half days. Thus, the persons responsible from Pirelli as well as the instructors from Audi driving experience had enough time to explain to their guests in theory and in practice the qualities of the Ultra High Performance tyre.
Around forty car and tyre dealers each took part in the event. The majority of the trading partners was from Germany. Yet, Pirelli customers from France, Poland, the Czech Republic, Switzerland and Greece also arrived for the occasion.
With oral presentations, the persons responsible informed the audience about recent developments in the automobile and car tyre markets, and attested the high potential of the P Zero tyres on the replacement market and in the segment of original equipment tyres. Subsequently, the technical advantages of the new UHP summer tyre variants were conveyed.
The presentations were followed by the event's practical part. Here, the car and tyre dealers were encouraged to experience the P Zero performance levels themselves. Training consisted of various driving exercises, during which the experienced Audi instructors showed the participants how to correctly handle critical situations in everyday road traffic. The events culminated with driving practices on the Audi driving experience center's exclusive handling course.
After the launch, Andreas Penkert, CEO Sales and Marketing, offered a positive summary: “The true performance capability of an Ultra High performance tyre is only revealed at the limit.
