From the Futurista to the Safarista. Two cars, both genuinely Delta. Automobili Amos revealed a new reinterpretation of the legendary Lancia in an adventurous key. Functionality and endurance were the core features following the age-old adage according to which it can't break if it isn't there because getting stranded is not an option on the backtracks for which the Delta Safarista was created. Far from civilization, the frozen Swedish lakes or the dunes of Arabian deserts are the places where you can push your driving skills to the limit in the safety of a vehicle born to take on challenges.

Up to just 10 cars will be built, based on the Lancia Delta Integrale 16V but reinterpreted in a modern and adventurous way. Inside and out, it is a car designed for extreme racing with underbody protection to shield it from the most treacherous terrain and a two-seater configuration to accommodate the driver, the co-driver and useful equipment to get out of a predicament when needed. The engine is original but is completely revised while the gearbox and differentials are borrowed from the racing world, together with the shell seats and the 4- or 5-point seat belts.
It is a stripped-back car with “Wash me” cheekily written with a finger rear window in the dust and Pirelli tyres as standard. Where to take it for adventures is entirely up to the imagination of the customers who choose to get behind the wheel of this refreshed legend.
