First Driver Flagship Store opens in Austria

Erik Vecchiet, Managing Director Sales and Marketing Pirelli Germany and Austria, emphasised at the opening: "We are sending a strong signal to the demanding Austrian market. Our team of ten professionals aims to provide excellent service for tyres and rims in a professional ambience to all customers in this highly specialised shop."

Drivers of electric cars are also well served at the Seestadt Tyre Centre. It is not only equipped with state-of-the-art facilities for servicing e-cars, but will soon also have charging stations to provide customers with a holistic service experience. This way, they can charge their vehicle while they get information about the wide range of tyres and rims or take advantage of the rim repair service.

The new DRIVER REIFENZENTRUM SEESTADT offers both an elegantly designed sales area and a state-of-the-art workshop on an area of 1,000 square metres. The spacious showroom invites visitors to immerse themselves in the world of Pirelli and find out about the portfolio of ultra-high performance tyres from the premium manufacturer and other brands. Within the five-storey building there is a large warehouse where about 5,000 new tyres are always in stock. In addition, there is an innovative depot concept: about 3,500 wheels and tyres from customers can be stored there seasonally.

The opening of the first DRIVER shop in the Austrian market is another important milestone," said Alberto Zanoli, Managing Director DRIVER Italy and Europe, during the opening. In the area of motor vehicle service, the Reifenzentrum Seestadt covers a wide range of services to meet the diverse needs of modern motorists: Vehicle inspection and maintenance Tyre change and storage, oil change and filter service, air conditioning service, brake service, shock absorber service, exhaust service, battery service, wheel and tyre service, including state-of-the-art fitting techniques as well as the electric mobility service for modern e-cars. On request, the Reifenzentrum Seestadt offers additional services such as vehicle collection and return, rental cars, mobile fitting and the mobility guarantee.
