THE PIRELLI STAND: WHAT TO SEE (AND DO)?

For the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed, Pirelli is present with an exhibition space where a major focus is posed on what the company already does and what it plans to do to keep innovating in a conscious way. At the Pirelli stand, visitors will find answers to questions such as: Which innovative components can help make more sustainable tyres? What does a rubber tree look like? How can tyre technology reduce the environmental impact of mobility?

Well, undoubtedly, one of the directions that the motor world is taking to reduce emissions, especially for daily mobility, is electrification. And the evolution of cars towards electric mobility is accompanied by the development of specific tyres for electric vehicles. An area of the Pirelli stand is devoted to explaining why these particular vehicles need particular tyres, which in Pirelli are called Elect tyres. Another innovation that will help develop the tyre of the future is Pirelli Cyber technology, which allows the transmission of information from the tyres to the car. You can take a look at this at Pirelli's stand during the festival.

Moreover, the Pirelli stand will illustrate the many facets of the company, from high-tech products to its presence in some of the most exciting competition fields in the world, from racing tracks to the open ocean. The entrance of the Pirelli stand is a tribute to motorsport fans: the very first thing you see entering is Pirelli's Formula 1 show car, equipped with the new FSC-certified natural rubber tyres debuted in the current season. Track enthusiasts will also be pleased by the presence of Pirelli simulators where they can race virtually on the same circuits as professional drivers.
