THE E-BIKE
It is a strong, power-assisted bicycle you can rent for a few hours or even a few days. It gives you the chance to experience the city whilst taking a less challenging bike tour, thus creating for yourself a unique experience.
Cycling means you can stop and savour every new flavour you come across as you are on the go, you can ride a few kilometres and reach the quaint nooks you would never be able to spot while zooming around with your car. It is not even worth mentioning that cycling also means you can leave your car at home and finally having a hassle-free day, without constantly thinking about parking or getting a fine for having left your car somewhere that may not be ideal.
E-cycling is a modern, eco-friendly and soothing way of traveling; it is very customisable to your very needs and to the type of traveller (or cyclist) you are, from the very adventurous one heading off to the Alps and ready to go on a hike in the Dolomites or the more relaxed chilled holidaymaker, who would just like to try something a little different from walking around in the Sicilian heat.

THE TOUR
There is nothing more memorable than shaping your tour according to your needs and interests. Here are a few ideas for you:

- An e-cycling tour of Tuscany
The Chianti region consists of a vast portion of central Tuscany where the famous namesake wine is made. It is an area spreading from the beautiful town of Florence to Siena, albeit its borders are roughly defined.
Its landscape is unique and definitely worth cycling through. What it has to offer is beyond anybody's imagination: a showcase of castles and forts built in the Middle Ages, small Romanesque rural churches, impressive Renaissance villas and charming farmhouses will, from time to time, break the constant, blissful view of old olive groves, patches of forests, white poplars and, of course, vineyards.
And it is the little towns and villages where the true Italian spirit is to be found. A bike ride in the small walled medieval hill towns of San Gimignano, known as the Town of Fine Towers, Montalcino, where the famous Brunello wine is made, Montepulciano or Pienza, the “touchstone of Renaissance urbanism”.
It will be the experience of a lifetime.
It goes without saying that you will be more than eager to get off the bike at times to enjoy some of the most delicious food Italy has to offer, all flavoured with a dab of fresh olive oil and accompanied by a glass of red.
After a wine tasting and a night spent chilling in one of the secluded villas of this enticing region, you are good to go, hop on the bike again as there is a lot more to discover!

- E-cycling around lake Garda
Lake Garda is the largest lake in Italy and also a popular holiday location. Tourists usually end up staying in one of the little towns and never get to experience the whole beauty surrounding this area.
Located not so far from the romantic city of Verona, on the edge of what is arguably the most wondrous chain of mountains in Italy, the Dolomites, the lake's shoreline hosts a series of little gems, all worth visiting. These include the ancient fortified town of Sirmione, located south of the lake, towered by the picturesque Scalinger castle, the lovely towns of Garda, Malcesine and Limone sul Garda, located on east and west of the lake, respectively.
Famous for its history and home to some Roman poets, this area also boasts sulphur springs that are deemed to be able to heal sinusitis.
Finally, if you wish do something different from the usual touristic activities, you can always cycle to one of the biggest Italian amusement parks, Gardaland, which is located just a few kilometres from the lake's shore.

These are just few ideas of tours you could do on your e-bike, but, as you may know, loads of hidden treasures are to be found in the whole country, thus there is a lot more to discover as you comfortably sit on your saddle. So, let's start planning!
