Pirelli is the only company in the Auto Components and Automotive sectors to have confirmed its position as a world leader in sustainable development, thanks to the Top 1% status awarded by S&P Global in the Sustainability Yearbook 2025.

The result, which confirms Pirelli as the only tyre manufacturer to receive the highest global recognition, was obtained following S&P Global's analysis of the sustainability profile of around 7,700 companies and follows the score recorded by Pirelli in S&P Global's Corporate Sustainability Assessment 2024, where the company received the highest score (84 points) in both the Auto Components and Automotive sectors, together with its confirmation in the Dow Jones Sustainability World and Europe Indices.

Marco Tronchetti Provera, Pirelli's Executive Vice Chairman, commented: “The recognition received again this year in the 2025 Sustainability Yearbook rewards Pirelli's ability to transform challenging goals into tangible results. It confirms the effectiveness of our industrial strategy which is based on concrete and measurable actions which encompass the entire value chain".

The Sustainability Yearbook analysis is a benchmark for assessing corporate sustainability performance as it takes into account the different efforts that companies have implemented in their sustainability strategies, and then awards the organisations that have excelled in their respective categories.
