Pirelli reaffirms its leadership in sustainability in the Auto Components and Automotive sectors, according to the annual analysis conducted by S&P Global.
The score received, 83, is significantly higher than the sector average of 26 points for auto components and 33 points for the Automotive sector. This achievement is attributed to top scores in multiple management areas, including Business ethics, innovation, board-level independence and diversity. Furthermore, attention to human rights and health and safety, supplier code of conduct, climate change management, reduction of CO2 emissions, biodiversity management, product environmental sustainability, and cyber security.
This result, confirming Pirelli's top global score in sustainability, is valid for inclusion in the Dow Jones Sustainability indices, of which Pirelli is already a member.
