In 2023, Pirelli again obtained the highest level of recognition in the S&P Global's Sustainability Yearbook 2023 di S&P Global earning a place among the “TOP 1%” of companies, a new title that from this year takes the place of “S&P Global Gold Class” to indicate the most virtuous entities at the global level.
This recognition, in fact, follows S&P's Corporate Sustainability Assessment, an analysis which in the last iteration involved more than 13,000 companies worldwide and which saw Pirelli obtain the Top Score of 86 points, the highest in the ATX Auto Components sector of the Dow Jones Sustainability World and Europe indices. S&P acknowledged the company's commitment to reducing CO2 emissions, safeguarding human rights, innovation, and cyber security, as well as the completeness and transparency of its social reporting.
