The sky of León, Guanajuato, was painted in colors during the 20th edition of the spectacular International Balloon Festival (FIG) an icon of this city, located in central Mexico, which was held from November 12 to 15, 2021.
As every year, thousands of people came from dawn to enjoy the moment the balloons take off and experience a unique show. The wait was worth it because watching the sunrise from the waters of the dam is a scene that amazes locals and visitors, even people from various parts of the world, who enjoyed the beginning of this festival.
On this occasion, access was controlled, so that only 75 percent of the capacity was allowed to protect the health of visitors, observing all preventive measures to avoid contagion.
200 pilots of 20 nationalities participated in the event, making this hot air balloon festival the most important nationally and the second worldwide.
Pirelli had a prominent presence at this festival with two balloons, one traditional in the shape of a drop decorated with the brand's colors and the other with a very special figure a Formula racing car proudly displaying its racing Pirelli tires.
