The Ethibel Investment Register ,at the basis of the ESI Excellence Indexes, is independently defined by Forum ETHIBEL, directly involved in the selection, research and analysis of the leader companies in Corporate Social Responsibility.
The selection activity is supported by the rating agency Vigeo, expert in the analysis of economic, social and environmental performance of European Companies.
The results of the RobecoSAM assessment, released in September 2015, show Pirelli’s leadership in the ATX Auto Components industry in the following categories:
- environmental management systems;
- environmental reporting;
- corporate citizenship and philanthropy;
- human capital development;
- labour practice indicators and human rights.
The Company was also close to the industry’s top scores in the following:
- Occupational Health and Safety;
- Climate Strategy;
- Supply Chain management;
- Codes of Conduct/Compliance/Corruption & Bribery;
- Social reporting.
Pirelli has been included in Dow Jones Sustainability Indices since 2002 and has held the leadership for eight consecutive years.
The Dow Jones indices are revised every year by RobecoSAM, a Swiss asset manager which is responsible for the assessment, admission or exclusion of companies from the Dow Jones sustainability equity indices.

With these words, Marco Tronchetti Provera – Pirelli Chairman and CEO – opened the first event of the Inter Campus project in Voronezh. Alexey Gordeev – Governor of the region of Voronezh – Sergey Chemezov – CEO of Rostec – and players from PFC CSKA Moscow were also present.
Inter Campus is one of the most significant and long-lasting social activities of Pirelli in Russia. It’s a contribution to the sport development in Voronezh region and to solving problems of social adaptation of children from boarding schools and of course it is joy of game.
For over 10 years, Inter Campus has been helping children in 29 countries around the world, sharing world-class coaching techniques with more than 200 local football coaches, and, most importantly, giving children the right to play.
Pirelli supports several Inter Campus projects, not only in Russia, but also in Romania, Mexico and United States.
