Other championships

The Road to MotoGP™ includes a series of programmes with one unique goal: promoting and nourishing talent of young riders, launching their careers and helping them to compete in MotoGP™ in the future.

The Finetwork FIM
JuniorGP™ World
Championship
This competition for young talent has been creating champions for more than a quarter of a century. It shares its name with the Finetwork FIM JuniorGP™ World Championship class within it, and the European Talent Cup and Moto2™ European Championship retain their denominations under the umbrella of the FIM JuniorGP™ World Championship.

The FIM MotoGP™
Rookies Cup
It has become one of the best stepping stones for talented youngsters, continually developing exceptional riders who then make the move to the lightweight class of the FIM MotoGP™ World Championship.

The FIM MiniGP
World Series
It is a collaboration between the FIM, Dorna Sports, and motorcycle federations and unions around the world. As part of the Road to MotoGP™, there are opportunities up for grabs for riders to move up and further their careers.

The Asia Talent Cup
It provides an opportunity for the most talented young riders between 14 and 17 in Asia and Oceania to race and learn on the Road to MotoGP™.

The Northern Talent Cup
It uses the incredibly successful European Talent Cup as a blueprint. Riders aged between 14 and 17 compete across central and northern Europe, alongside the FIM MotoGP™ World Championship, the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship and IDM.

FIM Yamaha R3 bLU cRU World Cup
This series gives young riders the perfect platform to benefit from professional coaching, technical support, and mentoring designed to encourage, develop, and nurture the next generation of superbike riders.

National Championships
On asphalt, Pirelli also participates in some of the most prestigious national championships such as the British Superbike (of which it has been the Sole Supplier since 2008), the German IDM Championship, and the French Superbike Championship, to name a few.
